We disassembled and cleaned everything. The leaf springs were sent off for re-arching and repainted when they returned.

At the same time we painted the front suspension, we painted the cleaned and re-sealed rear axle housing, rear shocks, shock plates and other bits. Additionally, due to the poor condition of the original gas tank, a new tank was sourced from Moss Motors and painted to match.

Brake systems in the rear were renewed using new wheel cylinders, shoes, drums, and a new parking brake cable. The restored shocks were hooked up using new shock links. All of the brake pipes were replaced due to rust and damage with a new stainless line kit from our friends at Classic Tube.
