After giving the paint in the engine bay some time to cure we began the reassembly. We also reinstalled the engine and front subframe, and assembled the front axles and Cooper S front disc brakes.

The final photograph in this sequence shows a layover of part of the engine bay as it arrived vs. as it currently sits, awaiting the remainder of assembly.
