With the clutch pedal working properly we moved on to the throttle. With the goal of using either MGB or Miata parts we needed to find a way to mate the MGB throttle to the Miata throttle cable.
After measuring the two throttle cables to see the distance between closed and wide-open throttle we created an adapter similar to the MGB throttle stand-off which would accept the snap-in base of the Miata cable. After mounting we routed the cable and made a bracket to attach the cable firmly to the firewall.
While this cable is set up for the stock Miata EFI, this setup will also work for our supercharger application.
