While this TR2 is a very solid car, both floorboards are showing heavy damage and will be replaced. First we braced the car to ensure the structure stayed intact and then we carefully removed the floorboards one at a time. As we removed the floorboards we were careful to expose the original factory plug and spot welds so that we can use them again when installing the new floorboards. The bottom of the toeboard area on the passenger side was rusty as well, so a patch was made and installed once the floor was removed..
