1977 Lotus Esprit

With the carbs rebuilt, the fuel pump replaced and the ignition wires replaced we sealed up the oil leaks at the valve covers with new gaskets. Once everything was back together we fired up this Lotus and fine-tuned the engine. This car is a very strong runner and is a pure joy to drive! We will see this car again in the spring for a final dialing-in of the fuel mixture for warmer-weather driving.

Before cars leave we like to corner-weigh them for our database. This car actually weighs more than we had initially expected, which makes its on-road performance even more eye-opening.
