Well tuned stock dual carb MGBs generally make 14-16 second 0-60
times and have 55-65 HP at the rear wheels when tested on a chassis
dyno.
We've got several "performance recipes" that add to the
stock powerplant in 10 HP increments. Each increase in 10 HP shaves
about 1-1.5 seconds off of the 0-60 time.
The first 10 HP additional of power we offer is free for most people--just
shift gears at 5000 RPM instead of 3500 RPM!
The next 10 HP centers around tuning, air filters, and simple ignition
upgrades like electronic conversions.

After that, we can branch into several directions: A Moss supercharger
by itself will add 20-25 HP. A flowed cylinder head by itself will
add about 10 HP. A crossflow head with dual SUs will add about 10
HP and with dual Webers can add 20 HP or more.
If we mix and match some of these components, select the right
cams and compression ratios, and add other appropriate modifications,
we can easily bring an MGB's rear wheel HP into the 100-110 range
and bring 0-60 times down into the 8 second range. More power is
still possible, but the costs start going up quickly!
