We stripped the A/C and upper engine bits including the fuel injection setup and remove d the engine and Sportomatic gearbox from the bottom of the car. In the process we located the ubiquitous mouse nest above the #3 cylinder. Every Porsche flat motor we’ve pulled apart has had a mouse nest located here and it’s one of the primary causes of engine damage due to overheating in that cylinder.
